Red Herrings is a historical drama that takes place in 1943 Denmark and follows the story of three women, June, a combat nurse on leave, Dot, a resistance-fighting seductress, and Kitty, a spirited and rebellious 18-year-old who lives with a family of Nazi sympathizers. With the Germans occupying Denmark and tensions increasing every day, an unusual string of events brings these women together and shows them that their individual talents combined make them a killer team. Follow June, Dot, and Kitty as they face the hardships of war while also covering up their trail of murders. In war, it’s either kill or be killed.

Based on Netflix's 2020 hit show "I Am Not Okay With This", this spec script was developed for my TV Writing class in college.

 

The episode was crafted to fit in the middle of the first season and is called "Just A Normal Teen".

SYNOPSIS:

Sydney's not-so-normal life screeches to a halt when she's told she might not be graduating high school. Now she must work on balancing her superpowers with her school work.
